TRAVEL ADVICE

Les Arc's is perched above the Tarentaise Valley. Bourg St. Maurice is one of the main arteries into the Alps and as a result has excellent transport links.
Driving: Vallandry/Les Arc's is about 10 hours from Calais. This is a good way to travel if there is a group of you. Autoroute tolls will be about £30 each way and petrol costs about the same as in the UK. To travel by ferry try Eurodrive on 0870 442 9807. A return should cost about £125 to £200 for a car and up to five people.
Train: This is by far the easiest way to get to Les Arc's. Eurostar trains run from London Waterloo to Paris, from there you can catch a TGV straight into Bourg St. Maurice. If you are interested in this option call Rail Europe on 0870 584 8848.
Flying: Geneva is the closest airport and most of the low cost airlines fly there. Try Easyjet or Expedia.
For both the latter options your bike will need to be packaged in some sort of box or padded bag. All you need to do is remove your pedals, bars, front wheel and let your tyres down. Then place everything into the box/bag with some extra pipe lagging as padding. Your local bike shop will be able to help with this. More advice on bringing your own bike.
Transfers
Geneva transfers are on Saturday only. The minibus will be at the airport around lunchtime. Your flights should arrive before 12 noon and leave after 3pm. Cost is £20 per person each way payable at time of booking. This price is based on a minimum of 4 people. (Transfers can be arranged at other times but please note we subsidise the cost of our Saturday transfer for our guests. A minimum price for a private transfer would be £150 each way).
Bourg St. Maurice transfers are free to our catered guests. Self-catering guests will be charged £8 per person each way. This price is based on a minimum of 4 people. We pick up from the train station in the centre of the town. You can travel to Bourg St. Maurice from Geneva by either train or one way car rental.
