THE RIDING

Take our virtual tour

Les Arc's is the fastest growing mountain bike area in the Alps. The surrounding area has the ultimate combination of stunning scenery, superb modern lifts and amazing singletrack. If you haven't heard of the area yet, you soon will! Everyone who has ridden with us over the last three years has gone home with a huge and permanent grin on their face. The singletrack in the area is nothing short of amazing. There is everything from smooth flowing trails to steep technical rocky switchbacks.
Whether you ride Downhill, Freeride or Cross Country there is something for everyone. We think the Les Arc's area is undoubtedly the best in the Alps. But don't just take our word for it, read our visitor comments over on the right...
This is your chance to experience more premium quality singletrack at two up and coming mountain bike resorts. Tignes and Meribel are both developing new bike parks so each week we are offering a one-day trip to either of these new areas.
Meribel is part of the huge 3 Vallees Ski area and has massive mountain biking potential. The area has an extensive network of singletrack trails, downhill courses and fireroads.
Tignes started developing their new bike park in 2004. It now features some pretty cool stuff, check out issue 53 of DIRT Magazine. It has two DH tracks one described as very hard expert only. The other is a fun style of track with smooth berms and big table tops similar to A-Line in Whistler. It also has a 4X track and a large freeride area with big jumps and drops.
The price is £50 per person, including a lift pass, guiding and minibus transfer. Pre-book this trip and save £5. Minimum of five people required.

"At the start Of August 2005 Mike Rose and Rich Cunningham from Dirt Magazine came to stay. As part of their summer road trip they where looking for somewhere different, new, away from the crowds and of course somewhere with amazing riding. It was a bit of a flying visit as they squeezed us in between the MegaAvalanche and a press camp at Tignes new Bike Park. Over the two days and two nights they spent with us we had a great time. Highlights were; curry for dinner (the first meal they had eaten for a week without cheese), riding the Vernettes singletrack with top notch DH riders, Black 8 in the rain, and of course Rich getting very happy after a few in the Shiver bar."
