BIKE and EQUIPMENT HIRE
Alpine Highs is pleased to bring you bike & equipment hire and professional guides from 'Fast Riding People'. You are more than welcome to bring your own bike (please ensure it has been serviced and fully checked over before you come). But lets face it, travelling with your bike isn’t easy. You have to pack your bike up in a box, spend hours with bubble wrap and tape then drag your bike through the airport and spend agonising minutes wondering if it will turn up and be in one piece when it does. Our local guide Alex Bastien can supply you with the perfect riding tool for your week in France. We offer two different bikes in a range of sizes and protective clothing.

If your XC bike doesn’t provide the geometry or ability to handle a mean downhill then try our Scott Nitrous. It is a lightweight long travel bike that allows riders to earn their down hills. Put it on the granny ring and climb your favourite mountains then drop the seat and hit speeds that would peal the paint off your XC bike. You can adjust the rear suspension travel from 150mm to 170mm to accommodate varying conditions. This bike provides the versatility you will need to tackle the Alpine terrain.
If you would like a bike that will handle the roughest and the most challenging terrain then try our Scott High Octane. It’s a bike made for serious riding and is built to be tough. Just don’t forget the full face helmet and body armour!
To make sure you enjoy a full weeks riding we also offer protection from Dianese and SixSixOne. We have freestyle knee and shin pads for your legs, gladiator jackets for your upper body and full face helmets.
To keep you riding all week we keep a stock of the most commonly used spare parts. These include, tubes, brake pads, chains etc. We also offer a 48 hour spare parts service. Almost any part (within reason) can be delivered within 48 hours.
