ALL MOUNTAIN / CROSS COUNTRY

This is the kind of riding that made us set up shop in Les Arc's. If you own a 4–6 inch travel bike and like riding the whole mountain you are in for a treat. Les Arc's boasts the kind of riding that any mountain biker would dream about. How does flying down a twisting singletrack jumping rocks, railing berms and splashing though cool mountain streams sound? Well that's just what you will be doing all week.

Les Arc's has over 100kms of marked mountain bike trails that are all clearly signposted and shown on the VTT piste map. But some of the real gems are not marked or signposted and this is where our professional guides come in handy.

Our guides will help show your group around the resort taking you to all the best singletrack descents. They will show you a huge variety of terrain that has been carefully chosen for your group's ability. At 2700m the ground is rocky and you will descend down fast fireroads into technical singletrack occasionally stopping to admire the scenery, with the views constantly changing from stunning to breathtaking and back again. At around 2200m you will ride into the upper meadows. Wind down the mellow trail slaloming through grazing cattle and past alpine flowers until eventually you reach the tree line and the trail starts to get more intense. Trees will become a blur as you negotiate rock steps, off camber roots and fast berms. Next you will need to get hard on the brakes to take those technical switchbacks without dabbing and after what seems like forever finally pop out of the forest into the bright sunshine and heat of the valley floor at 800m. Then jump on the lift and go back to the top for another instalment of pure mountain biking pleasure.

Don't just take our word for it come and sample the ultimate singletrack for yourself.
